Delete your account

Delete inside the app

This is the fastest way. Your account is deleted immediately and you’ll be signed out.

1. Open vuin and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Request deletion from the web

If you can’t sign in or no longer have the app, send a request with the form on this page. We’ll email the address on your account to confirm the request is yours, then delete the account within 7 days of confirmation.

What we delete

• Your account and profile details, such as name, email address and photo.
• Your posts, replies, messages, circle memberships, connections and invites.
• Your preferences, settings and usage history linked to your account.
• Device identifiers and notification tokens linked to your account.

Data is removed from our live systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days.

What we may keep, and for how long

• Records needed for safety or legal reasons, such as information about accounts banned for abuse or data we must preserve under a legal order, only for as long as needed.
• Anonymised statistics that can no longer identify you.

Delete some data without closing your account

You can delete individual content inside the app at any time. To ask us to delete specific data, such as support messages or diagnostics, choose “Delete specific data only” in the form.
